On 4 September 2012, four previous LCLC presidents, Darius Daubaras, Linas Čiapas, Viktoras Jucikas, Ieva Šatkutė, and current president Daumantas Mockus gathered for the innaugural annual Presidents' Dinner.
Five LCLC members, each of whom had the privilege to lead the Club's activities for a year and subsequently served on the Club's executive board, discussed a number of questions related to LCLC's long-term vision, succession of leadership and the Club's relations with the community and partner institutions.
After 2.5 hours of passionate discussion and debate, it was concluded that Presidents' Dinner should be held once a year and the Presidents' Council should act as an informal advisory board to the Club's acting leadership.
Only Egis Rimkus, LCLC's first president currently living in Switzerland, was unable to attend the meeting. Nevertheless, Egis maintains close ties with the Club and the strong foundations he put in place as LCLC's first leader continue to guide us to this day.
