Forum on the governance of Lithuanian State-Owned Entities

The Lithuanian City of London Club (LCLC) in partnership with the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance (BICG) and the Lithuanian Governance Coordination Centre (GCC) organised a forum on attracting independent members of the board of directors of Lithuanian State-Owned Entities (SOEs).

The focus was on the changes that the admission to the OECD brings to Lithuania, and how professionals with international experience can contribute to improving SOE governance and leading them to better performance in the near future and the longer term.

Independent board members' role. Rytis Ambrazevičius, President of the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance, Independent Chairman of the Board of EPSO-G Group.

Application to independent board membership role. Laura Garbenčiūtė-Bakienė, Independent Member of Supervisory Board of Invega, Head of Audit and Risk Committee at Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant.

Business professional leading the National Pride. Sigitas Žutautas, Former General Director at Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
