Petras Vaičius, a two-time Member of the Board at the Lithuanian City of London Club, is to speak at the Meeting of World Lithuanian Youth 2012 (MWLY2012) on 14 July 2012.
Vaičius, currently working as a Vice President at BofA Merrill Lynch's Investment Banking division, will deliver on the topic of 'International Business Migration To/From Lithuania.' Other speakers on the panel will include Milda Dargužaitė, the Managing Director at Invest Lithuania, Šarūnas Skyrius, Partner at Gild Bankers, and a representative from IBM Lithuania. The panel discussion will be moderated by Tomas Buzas, General Secretary at the Baltic Vision Group.
Meeting of World Lithuanian Youth 2012 will take place on July 12-15, 2012 in Visuomenes harmonizavimo parkas in Prienai district, Lithuania. MWLY2012 is first of this kind and scale in the history of independent Lithuania.
Event is targeted at young individuals with its programme covering subjects within the areas of business, politics, science and culture. A couple of dozen of spaces hosting keynote speeches, discussions, career and contact fairs, evening concerts, workshops and other activities will be open during the four-day event. Participants of MWLY2012 will not only be able to participate in the presentations and discussions but also will have a one-off opportunity to network with well-known Lithuanian politicians, businessmen, artists, academics and present themselves at the career and contact fairs.
In the lounge zone of the event world class artists will host their own interactive workshops alongside famous theatre plays, acoustic gigs, dance lessons and Lithuanian movie nights. In the evenings the main stage (hipodrome) will feature live music concerts of Lithuanian music artists and bands that have become a household name to majority of Lithuanians living in Lithuania and abroad.
