On the 4th of September members of LCLC met with the delegation of Klaipeda city led by the mayor of Klaipeda Vytautas Grubliauskas. Both parts exchanged their ideas about various issues of development of Klaipeda city, other cities and towns of Lithuania as well as certain large national projects such as Liquefied Gas Terminal. Members of the club Raminta Dereškevičiūtė and Ieva Šatkutė mentioned that LCLC members are willing to contribute to the project with their knowledge and experience as well as introduce this project to their clients in the UK.
During the visit Klaipeda city delegation signed cooperation agreements with Teesside University and Bradford College which will allow to open joint faculties in Klaipeda. LCLC members will seek to contribute to the development of these faculties with the LCLC Guest lectures.
The LCLC Guest Lectures initiative aims to offer students at Lithuanian universities professional perspectives on their subjects, as well as general career advice, through leveraging the range and depth of expertise within LCLC. Members of LCLC agree to volunteer and deliver lectures at leading Lithuanian universities, sharing their perspectives and experiences.
