LCLC Skiing in Val Thorens, France (Photo)
LCLC opened the skiing season early this year. On the first weekend of December, long before the heavy snow fall began in the French Alps, a large group of LCLC'ers (around 14 or so) moved into a mountain chalet in Val Thorens. Although snow was thin and mostly artificial, the runs were perfectly groomed and we managed to get in three days of skiing. The company was great, the chalet was gorgeous and cheese raclette was plentiful. It was a great opening to the season and a successfully executed first outdoors event led by the newly elected board.
